“He came towards me and shoved the gun at my forehead,” Soussana, a lawyer, recalled. “Then he, with the gun pointed at me, forced me to commit a sexual act on him." (regarding the actions of a Hamas Terrorist against her on 10/7)

-We have a [WhatsApp] group for all the youth in the kibbutz, a hundred kids between the ages of 13 and 17. They started writing things there like “They broke into my house, they're inside, they're shouting in Arabic, they're shooting at us”. The situation soon deteriorated and kids started writing [more horrific things like]: “they shot my parents, they set fire to the house, we are dying, someone please help us”. We felt helpless, I was in the same situation, we were all in the same boat. -

-I called my friend Maya and we ran to my car. We started to drive on the road for about 200 meters, and then I saw a car on the opposite side of the road. It was full of bullets.

“There was a Hamas terrorist blocking all the roads and they just shot everyone who were trying to escape.

“We stopped the car and ran to the bomb shelter. There were already 30 or 40 people over there.

“My body just switched into survival mode and I had an intuition to leave the shelter. So, I grabbed Maya and went back to my car.”

“They were just shooting all the people who were inside the shelter,” Gabay said. “They would throw a grenade inside and everyone was trapped. There was no place for them to go.-

"As we drove on the road, we approached a minivan. We stopped to inspect and see if there was anyone inside. There was, but every member of the family had been killed. In the front seat, a dead male—maybe a father, a husband, or a brother—had been shot in his head and his back, multiple times. In the back seat, I saw what I could only assume was a mother, bleeding and fallen over a carseat. Beneath that carseat, a baby shot dead in the head. The mother appeared to have died lying over her baby to protect him."

Why is Israel currently fighting its' current war in Gaza and Lebanon?

On October 7, 2023, Hamas launched a large-scale attack on Israel, which included rocket fire, ground incursions, the deliberate killing of families including young-Jewish children, and the rape of Jewish-women. This unprecedented assault resulted in significant casualties and damage in Israel. In response, Israel declared a state of war and initiated military operations against Hamas in the Gaza Strip, leading to intense fighting. Hamas and Hezbollah (an Iranian funded terrorist group in Lebanon) has supported this attack by launching missile and drone attacks in the northern region of Israel, causing mass evacuations of Jews, Druze peoples, and Muslims in the area.
